Liselore Frowijn - spring summer 15 collection "Fracture space" lookbook "My collection is all about the clash between sportswear and luxury. The concept of this collection is based on the famous cut-outs of Matisse, his final work. These enormous col lages in br ight colors represent his own imaginary world. "The L.A. based duo Sego sets the rhythm with their first EP 'Wicket Youth' released through Kitsuné on October 27th. Native of Utah and now Los Angeles residents, Sego’s band members, Spencer and Thomas' live journey has taken them from rural simplicity to urban complexity. Small-town boys living in the big city, they are equally drawn to both cutting edge and the timeless, refusing to surrender flesh-and-blood humanity in and increasingly digitized and technologically driven world. For their first release, out on Kitsuné Oct 27th, the duo reveals 5 original tracks that will give you a fantastic electric feeling. Intoxicating melodies, spiky guitar riffs and pulsating rhythms build an addictive tension, resulting from the band’s search for synthesis and balance among competing and contradictory inspirations and urges. With memorable gigs, Sego is like the perfect L.A. soundtrack right now. Fall under the spell straight away with the opening track "20 Years Tall" and its DFA sound, which you will also hear on the Kitsuné Maison 16 compilation that you can find/listen here".

An uplifting antidote to the winter blues that will warm you from the inside and inspire you. Lost Kings ( Robert Gainley & Dr. No from Los Angeles, United States) add their progressive touch to this already beautiful song "This Side of Paradise" from the rising actress/singer-songwriter Hayley Kiyoko that blends into a harmonious celebration of comfort and company." Louis Vuitton - fall 2014 ad campaign, celebrating the 160th monogram's anniversary. Saskia de Brauw photographed by Colin Dodgson based in New York. Editor, Carine Roitfeld. More info about the LV Monogram here below and via the official page of LV. www.LouisVuitton.com The Monogram history In 1854, Louis Vuitton founded his House. In 1896 his son, Georges Vuitton, created The Monogram in honour of his late father. An icon was born. The Monogram was revolutionary when it appeared. This most particular and personal of signatures was instantly transformed into a universal symbol of modernity in the hands of Georges Vuitton: it is one of the first exercises in elevated branding and a defining sign of a global culture to come. In 1965 Gaston-Louis Vuitton, recounted how his father, Georges, had created the motifs on The Monogram canvas: ‘First of all, the initials of the company – LV – are interlaced in such a way as to remain perfectly legible. Then a diamond. To give a specific character to the shape, he made the sides concave with a four-petal flower in the centre. Then the extension of this flower in a positive image. Finally, a circle containing a flower with four rounded petals.’ The Monogram is now recognised globally as a defining signature, both literally and metaphorically, of the House of Louis Vuitton. As it has travelled through time, certain of its features and meanings remain the same. Blurring the boundaries between craftsmanship, art and design, Louis Vuitton has repeatedly embraced the notions of innovation, collaboration and daring throughout The Monogram’s history. It is within this context that Louis Vuitton’s ‘Celebrating Monogram’ project appears this year. It is a collection of works that shows the distinctly personal side of the Monogram; re-presenting something we think we all know in an extraordinary, individual and idiosyncratic way. Six creative iconoclasts – the best in their individual fields – who blur the lines between fashion, art, architecture and product design, have been given carte blanche to dictate and make whatever they see fit in the patterned canvas. Echoing the special Louis Vuitton centenary collection of 1996 – where Azzedine Alaia, Manolo Blahnik, Romeo Gigli, Helmut Lang, Isaac Mizrahi, Sybilla and Vivienne Westwood contributed individual and distinct designs – for 2014’s collection, the participants have progressed even further. Here, Christian Louboutin, Cindy Sherman, Frank Gehry, Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Newson and Rei Kawakubo radically, personally and playfully realise an unparalleled collection. In many ways it means The Monogram has come full circle: looking at its handcrafted roots once more, its direct connection to a person, its daring and genre defying audacity and, above all, its journey into the future for Louis Vuitton. This is a collection that is both universal and personal, and in the cherished traditions of the house, once again defies expectations." (c) LouisVuitton

Fog is taken from Owlle' debut album "France". Find also here below and re-listen, don't lose it, ticky ticky and disorder. We love, we share ! About Owlle : "In a world of 24 hour party girls, Owlle is the rare creature of night who finds her bliss in solitude. Her shadowy electropop tunes, like breakout singles “Ticky Ticky” and “Disorder,” reverberate with the tremors of midnight, and the eerie afterglow of dancefloors long abandoned. They feel both futuristic and ancient as does everything Owlle creates. Owlle’s background in fine art allows her to create a distinct world around her. From her art direction and cinematography to costuming choices, Owlle’s mesmerizing imagery is just as important as the music itself. The Owlle experience defies being contained to one form: the sound, style, and visuals must be taken as one convergent reality a reality of a young artist’s own creation." + www.owlle.com
