Röyksopp and Robyn announce the release of the ‘Do It Again’ mini album, which will be released on 26th May 2014. A snippet of Monument, the first track on the album is available to stream here below. "I've been going back and forth to Bergen to record and write with the Röyksopp boys up until recently. It started to feel more like a band thing than songs for a Röyksopp or Robyn album so we´re releasing this music together as a band you could say". "Monument is special to this album and to me. Its about space in time and defining oneself. Svein and Torbjorn and I were in a zone when we made it, it was like a dream. Like a meditation…" - Robyn "This doesn't sound like Röyksopp featuring Robyn or Robyn produced by Röyksopp, it's just something else entirely, the word 'collaboration' has never before been more justified in the world of music!" - Röyksopp 'Do It Again' album/tracklist: 01 Monument 02 Sayit 03 Do It Again 04 Every Little Thing 05 Inside The Idle Hour Club royksopp.com + robyn.com

Robert Mapplethorpe Exhibition at Grand Palais - Paris from march 26 until jully 13, 2014 « Robert Mapplethorpe was one of the great masters of art photography. He produced highly stylised black and white portraits, nudes and still lifes. Over and above the erotic power that made Mapplethorpe’s work famous, the exhibition presents the classic dimension of the artist’s work and his search for aesthetic perfection, through over 200 images that span his career from the early 1970s to his untimely death in 1989. Amatorski's second album ‘From Clay To Figures’ will be out on april 14th through Crammed Discs (Staff Benda Bilili, Akron/Family). The belgian duo are also pleased to announce they have been confirmed for The Great Escape Festival in Brighton. "Amatorski’s captivating and intimate sound is created by vocalist Inne Eysermans (who also plays keyboards & guitar) and guitarist/vocalist Sebastiaan van den Branden. The album ‘From Clay To Figures’ was created over the course of last year at home, in their studio and on the road. Inne looked to New York and Hamburg for solitude and seclusion as an inspiration for new ideas. These sketches were sent to Sebastiaan, who moulded layers and sounds around the initial ideas. Through their continuous interplay, the new songs gradually took their definitive form. The resulting album tracks sound less secretive, more open and more hopeful than their debut." Hope you enjoy. www.facebook.com/thepenelopesmusic "Hailing from Paris, The Penelopes are dynamic duo Axel Basquiat and Vincent T. Now living in London’s creative east, the pair are now in the city that live and breathes ‘Gloomy Indie’, a genre the pair fell in love with when living in the industrial suburbs of north Paris. Influenced by British bands such as The Cocteau Twins and New Order you would expect their own music to follow in the same footsteps, but happily, the band contradict their influences by creating this multi-layered, sparkly indie-pop." + www.thepenelopes.com Charts March 2014 mix / Tracklist: 1. "BeatauCue are back to make you bounce with their new single 'Kyllan' out March 31st on Kitsuné. For their seventh release on Kitsuné, the French duo presents two very sunny tracks: first, 'Kyllan' an understated audio gem that gradually builds up to a bass laden crescendo. Then comes 'Lovato', a sun drenched belearic winner perfectly suited for outdoor raving. The stunning remixes come courtesy of fellow electronic stalwarts including - JoeFarr who envisages a dark and techno version of the lead track, Belarbi's take is more dance friendly, rising star Asa gives it a smooth, groovy rework and Montréal pair Prince Club round it off with a rather excellent take on the genre. The guys will be playing Kitsuné's Easter Party along with Digitalism, Jerry Bouthier, Punks Jump Up, Logo, Tobtok on April 19th @ Village Underground as part of the 100% Kitsuné label showcase for London's Convergence Festival taking place in April." www.beataucue.com + www.facebook.com/beataucue Beutaucue - kyllian EP / Tracklist: 01. "Banoffee is an english dessert. Banoffee is Martha Brown playing keys and synths and singing. Banoffee is the solo project of Martha Brown (Otouto, Dreaming & Delicious). Just like Banana, Caramel and Pastry go together quite nicely, Banoffee aims to melt together fuzzy synths, wonky beats and effected vocals to create a treat that might be kinda nice." With an EP in the making to be released early this year 2014, co-Produced by Oscar Key Sung. Find some tracks of the young artist as Ninja, Reign Down and now Leona Lewis's track "Bleeding Love" reworked by Banoffee. Hope you enjoy and stay tuned for more very soon. Kiss from Paris. FarmFestival 2014 "If you're looking for guaranteed goodness from your festival experience this summer look no further than Farmfest. The scene is classic glorious English countryside, their support of the UK's top emerging acts will tick all your music boxes with a line-up full of burgeoning talent, and the rebelliously reasonable prices will make the fine selection of local craft ciders and ales taste even sweeter. All this and you can relax in the knowledge that the hard work you put in enjoying yourself will benefit good causes such as this year's new main charity, Send a Cow, who aim to help end poverty in Africa with a powerful mix of practical farming, emotional support and a culture of sharing. New this year: A new space themed area 'The Milky Way' will be bumping up the good times quota at Farmfest in 2014 with a galaxy full of additional arts, crafts and entertainment including: Drawing Experience by Art Macabre, Space Station Dress-up, Yoga, Healing Zone, Son Cameleon Peddle Power Carnival, Race to Space, Screen Printing workshops, Space Body Art Workshops, Story Telling, Kids Art, Chill Out Planet, Slacklining, and not forgetting Farmfest's famous hat competition! A new late night party area will be seeing the light of day at Farmfest this year ensuring plenty of moonlit dancing, whilst a wide selection of food and drink stalls will be aiding the all important re-fueling! The story: In 2006, a small group of friends native to Somerset made the decision to host an intimate, cost-effective festival for their friends as an alternative to the events dominating the English summer. Farmfestival's subsequent success has seen attendances grow organically through word of mouth, from an initial 400 to its capped 4500 capacity. Year after year, loyal followers and newbies alike make their way down to its countryside home at Gilcombe Farm, Bruton, for the promise of wallet-friendly good times and acts on the cusp of stardom, acts such as Friendly Fires, Ghostpoet, Egyptian Hip Hop, Submotion Orchestra and Man Like Me, all of whom have played previously. The festival remains adamantly sponsor-free, the lo-fi DIY aesthetic combining with the genre busting music policy to create the unique atmosphere. Previously quoted as one of the UK's best kept festival secrets (Dj Vadim / Venue Mag), the cat is slowly being let out of the bag." + farmfestival.co.uk Confirmed Live Acts: Public Service Broadcasting, Melt Yourself Down + headliner TBA, Alpines, Beaty Heart, Laid Blak, Jus Now Live, Skinny Lister, Emily and The Woods, The Fire Beneath The Sea, Beans on Toast, The Sounds of Harlowe, Gorgeous George, Gemini (Kelle & Borei), Ukes of Hazard, Firewood Island + more guests TBA Confirmed DJs: Ralph Lawson, DJ Food, Channel One Soundsystem, Romare, Leo Zero, The Kelly Twins, Shapes Bristol Djs, COR Djs, Slim Goodgroove, Wholemeal Djs, DJ Louie Louie, Franklin (Freerange Recs), Ways And Means, The Quintessential Soundsystem, Farmfestival Djs, James ‘James Bell’ Bell + more guests TBA

Tigersushi's DyE has just remixed Y.O.U's new single 'Heavy Crown'. "Heavy Crown' is the first official release from Manchester based Y.O.U (Your Own Universe) out via Tigersushi this spring. Elliott Williams, a rare talent brought to the attention of Parisian tastemaker and Tigersushi owner, Joakim Bouaziz, who immediately invited him over to his Paris studios to record a few tracks that would form the basis of Y.O.U’s forthcoming album out later this year. Both artists bonded over a love of hardware synths and 80s New Wave pop records. It was deemed a logical succession of events for Y.O.U’s first outing to be released on the cult label." Fashionclash is an International & Interdisciplinary fashion festival/platform with main focus on young emerging talents. They connects talent, various disciplines, cultures and a broad audience through the annual international fashion festival they organized ‘Fashionclash Maastricht’. 6th Edition is in the making and scheduled for 12 - 15th of June 2014. The concept of ‘age’ is the theme of the 6th edition of the Fashionclash Festival. "Age is omnipresent in our society. It is a multi-layered concept and widely discussed. It seems that we could debate endlessly what aging means in the 21st century. (...) Have you ever considered, for example, how does your age translate to your actions and the way you express yourself? Often it is claimed that certain designs are representative of a certain age only, but is it really so? Equally, art and design provide a number of means to break down boundaries that are related to the stereotypes concerning age. Fashion is capable of discussing whether certain types of clothes are limited to a specific age or how age can be implemented in design." + fashionclash.nl/ Fashionclash Foundation is based in Maastricht (The Netherlands) and was founded in 2009 by ABK Maastricht alumni Branko Popovic, Nawie Kuiper and Els Petit. Since 2010 Branko Popovic, Nawie Kuiper and Laurens Hamacher are the leading managing and artistic team behind Fashionclash. we love them & support their work! Great job Branko & Nawie. Pat Lok (from Vancouver, Canada ) shared his official remix of Mjolnir's single "Just A Boy" that you can find here below. Offered as a free download via Pat's facebook page, this remix comes as part of a package also featuring remixes from Castletics, JBAG, Camara and more out now on Continental Records #14. Moreover, earlier this month Pat also shared the official video (directed by Jen Oleksiuk and Scopitone Films) for his latest original single "Move Slow" and featuring the smooth and sultry vocals of fellow Canadian alo.
