HYERES 2015 / ANNELIE SCHUBERT WINS "PREMIERE VISION GRAND PRIZE" HYERES FASHION FESTIVAL

Annelie Schubert wins Première Vision Grand Prize at Hyères International Festival of Fashion and Photography 2015 ( 30th edition).  «This is a highly thought out choice. Annelie Schubert presents a true silhouette, strong and clear. The details are subtle and the construction is discrete. The relationship between the fabrics and the colours is incredible. Annelie Schubert has taste and elegance. She has an endearing personality and is very sensitive, unpretentious, down to earth and fresh. » The members of the jury. The shortlisted designers for this 30° International Festival of Fashion & Photography - Hyeres 2015 in France were : Anna Bornhold, Wieke Sinige, Sophie Harand, Yuyu Chen, Heini Maria Hyninen & Elina Aarela, Elina Mattanen, Christina Braun, Sophie Salekari, Annelie Schubert, Guillem Rodriguez Bernat.  For this edition, the House of CHANEL was the guest of honour at the International Festival of Fashion and Photography, from April 23rd until 27th, 2015 at the villa Noailles. Karl Lagerfeld was the Artistic Director of this 30th annual festival. Virginie Viard, CHANEL’s Creative Studio Director was the President of the fashion jury. Eric Pfrunder, Image Director at CHANEL Fashion was the President of the photography jury.

The prize consists of:
A grant of 15,000 euros offered by Première Vision and a high level of visibility at both Première Vision New-York and Première Vision Paris shows / a collaborative project with some of CHANEL’s Métiers d’art, up to 15,000 euros / a collaboration with Petit Bateau on one or more of its emblematic products . 

Grand Prize "Première Vision" Hyeres 2015 : Annelie Schubert from France/Germany. 

The Jury special mention goes to Wieke Sinnige from the Netherlands. 

Chloé award goes to the german designer Anna Bornhold.  

Grand Prize of Photography :  Sjoerd Knibbeler  from the Netherlands.

FR/ Le Grand Prix du Jury Première Vision pour la mode est attribué à Annelie Schubert. « C’est un choix très réfléchi. C’est d’abord une vraie silhouette, forte et claire, les détails sont subtils et les constructions discrètes. Il y a un rapport de matières et de couleurs incroyables. Annelie Schubert a du goût, de l’élégance, c’est une personnalité attachante, d’une grande sensibilité, sans prétention, simple et fraîche. » Les Membres du jury. En amont du Prix, les dix finalistes ont été accueillis sur les salons Première Vision de février. Ils ont pu nouer des contacts directs avec les exposants et fabricants et bénéficier d’un accès privilégié aux produits des meilleures entreprises mondiales : fils, tissus et accessoires. Ils ont également été accompagnés dans la confection de leur collection.  

Le Prix Chloé pour la mode est attribué à Anna Bornhold avec une bourse de création d'un montant de 15 000 euros. La mention spéciale va a WIeke Sinnige et est dotée d’un projet de collaboration avec certains des Metiers d’art de CHANEL à hauteur de 10.000 euros. Bravo à tous et à l'année prochaine. « La Maison CHANEL s’associe au Grand Prix du Jury Photographie, attribué à Sjoerd Knibbeler, avec une dotation de 15.000 euros. C’est un travail qui est une réflexion sur les limites du medium : comment photographier ce qui, a priori, n’est pas photographiable. Le lauréat essaie de donner une forme à ce qu’on ne voit pas, comme le vent et il le fait d’une façon à la fois poétique, expérimentale et presque scientifique, rappelant parfois les expériences d’Etienne Jules Marey. Dans la même veine, il donne corps à des projets qui n’ont jamais eté réalisés, tels ces avions qui ne voleront jamais et qu’il reconstitue par le biais de maquettes réalisées en origamis. Ajoutons à cela qu’il représente bien la jeune génération. Son travail très cohérent, qui couvre tous les champs de la photographie, est accompagné d’un travail vidéographique complétant sa démarche et l’illustrant. Un livre particulièrement bien réalisé, impeccable, participe à cette mise en forme. »
