NorthSide 2018 runs from the 7th to 9th of June in Ådalen, Aarhus. Following the colossal headliner announcement for NorthSide 2018, the leading Danish festival has delivered its second wave of acts, contributing to what will be an unmissable line up for 2018.
Showcasing the festival’s versatility in genre and consistent quality, the addition of Tyler, The Creator, Aurora, A Perfect Circle and Sleaford Mods also demonstrates why NorthSide is gaining a wider international reputation as the place to be next summer. After hosting the world exclusive live return of Frank Ocean this year, the chance to see Tyler, The Creator is another huge draw to Aarhus for UK fans, following his live ban in 2015.
Ticket sales for the ninth edition of NorthSide began selling faster than ever last month, and now festival spokesman John Fogde has confirmed that a limited number of one-day tickets will be released from Tuesday 31st October. “We’ve already come a long way with the NorthSide 2018 line-up, so we’re ready to start selling one-day tickets. At the same time, we can also reveal, which days the [initial] announced acts will play, so people can start getting an idea of how the program will turn out.”
Headliners Queens of the Stone, The National and Cigarettes After Sex will all play on Friday 8th June alongside A Perfect Circle, while Father John Misty and Deerhunter will be joined by Tyler, the Creator on Saturday 9th June.
The expanding festival, set in Denmark’s second city and European Capital of Culture, is expected to entertain over 40,000 music fans next year and prides itself on achieving its 100% organic status.
