Porto.MODAPORTUGAL is an event that brings together in Porto the future of international fashion: young talents in apparel and footwear design, European fashion schools, specialty press, industry, internationally renowned fashion personalities and different players in the creative ecosystem. The young designers participate in an experience of contact with the Portuguese manufacturing industry reality, visiting the partners of the future, while showcasing their present work to a renowned international jury. An event designed and formatted by CENIT - Centro de Inteligência Textil, in partnership with ANIVEC, APICCAPS and MODALISBOA, which aims at bringing together two essential areas of excellence: creation and manufacturing.
Porto.MODAPORTUGAL is an initiative integrated on a broader scope under the naming of MODAPORTUGAL, with the mission of communicating new perspectives of the Portuguese Fashion Industry. Under this tag coexist innovative design, new approaches on fashion and new business models. Different languages with one single voice to convey a new perspective of contemporary Portugal, capable of producing innovative design and excellent craftmanship, enthusiastic and well prepared for the challenges of the future. This is the outcome of a shared view of the strategic partners within the industry, including fashion, apparel, accessories and manufacturers.
