INTRODUCING NEW YORK SONGWRITER PRODUCER TANNERS' PLUSH, LAVA-LAMP SOAKED DEBUT CONFESSIONAL "HOLY WATER"

Dive into the seductive psych-pop sounds of Tanners. The moniker of New York City-based songwriter and producer Tanner Peterson, Tanners was first realized while she was a Music Technology student at NYU. Fully intent on pursuing audio engineering post-graduation, Tanners shifted gears after engineering several other artists' records and realized she had her own story to tell. As a woman with a strong passion for creative production and engineering, Tanners strives to encourage women to take charge of their own productions as she has with her music. In 2017, she was an invited performer at TED Talks symposium for TEDxTeen and was the face for British visual artist Shantell Martin's collaboration with Puma.

Today Tanners welcomes listeners into her ephemyral synth world with her debut single "Holy Water." "Come with me and swim into my daydream," she spits on the plush, lava-lamp soaked confessional, before stoking: "I can be your jesus if you let me." Inspired by her childhood love for the beach, "Holy Water" celebrates the beauty and electricity born from allowing yourself to be completely vulnerable and enveloped by the ocean. "It’s a thank you song to the ocean for teaching me to embrace vulnerability," Tanners says of the track. "Holy Water" is available on all digital platforms today.
