TRACE shares 18-year-old NYC based producer Callie Reiff's remix of "Blood And Bones." Described by Teen Vogue as "the next big thing on turntables," Callie started making waves in the Manhattan nightlife scene at the tender age of 15 and has since been tapped for remixes of Sofi Tukker and her original music has been supported by the likes of A-Trak and more. On "Blood And Bones," Callie adds some dark magic, adding different drum patterns and more sinister sounding synths that flip the track into a late night groove. Press play and enjoy just below!
"My ultimate goal for a remix of 'Blood and Bones' was to find someone who could take this track and it’s intimacy and ground it a bit, roughen the edges and give it a different shade of dark. When Callie originally reached out, I obviously wanted us to make some magic. We chatted about our influences and there was an instant trust. When the idea for a remix came into play for 'Blood and Bones', it immediately went to Callie. In the process, she went to work with her magic and I absolutely feel like it displays a closeness you often lose in remixes. And it’s really fun." TRACE
