Prada - fall winter 2014 ad campaign / www.Prada.com
The Weimar influence of Prada's FW14 collection is brought to the fore as an ambiguous relationship unravels in a bleak landscape of brutalist architecture. Video campaign here below. Featuring Mica Arganaraz & Karl Kolbitz / Photography by Steven Meisel / Film Direction by DJA / Styled by Olivier Rizzo / Hair Stylist Guido Palau / Makeup Artist Pat McGrath / Film production by Art+Commerce / Music by WeAreCottonClub /
For the last season's fashion ad campaigns, the brutalist modern architecture became a sublime decorum. We can talk about A.P.C last campaign, Celine, Fendi, Jerome Dreyfuss, Balenciaga in a raw mineral world, using hight architecture references (Mies Van der Rohe, Carlo Scarpa, louis kahn, Mendes da Rocha, etc). Today this idea of luxury highlighted in a raw space also invaded the shops for our greatest pleasure. Using stones, desactivated concrete, bush hammered concrete or shuttered concrete the new architects & space designers sublime the fabrics of high quality through this environment/spaces in contrast with the luxury elements that compose the collections. Architecture and fashion are brothers and we defend this idea for sure ! ArcStreet.com
