THE ARCHITECT WORDS
"In a strongly territory marked by natural landscape with valleys and hilltops, characteristic of the hills of the Algarve region in the leeward, these two houses are built against nature. White Volumes with two floors and terraces, divided between community spaces at the ground floor and bedrooms (guaranteeing greater intimacy as if it were a monastic cells, each with its terrace, open on the infinite landscape) on the 1st floor. Inside, the ceilings are in concrete and cement screed floors, creating a color reference level and the horizontal planes spaced apart by walls plastered and painted white. The transition between the austere geometry of the house and the waving organic landscape gives up on cement platforms, the outside area" Bak Gordon, for HabitarPortugal
